Rules Development Methodology
LSS consultants have developed hundreds of Labor Management Rules.
These Rules have ranged from FLSA and State Compliance rules, to custom union and labor contract rules, hazard pay and on call rules, specialized daily and weekly overtime rules, complex shift premium rules, 980 scheduling rules, configurable holiday pay rules, and Punch Time to Work Order Time comparison rules.
LSS has an easy and consolidated documenting approach to the analysis, construction and production maintenance of all rule requirements. Our approach to Rules development is as follows:
- We always strive to build rules utilizing the delivered functionality of a software application.
- Our secondary approach is to use delivered functionality with a slight adjustment or modification.
- As a last resort, we have the ability to deliver a complete customization to meet a business requirement.
LSS provides a high level view of all the rules developed as well as a detailed technical specification related to each customized rule.
